Try Some Statistical Applets
- Dynamic Scatter Plot: This applet
gives an interactive scatter plot with a text area to its right. You
highlight points by clicking the mouse on them or by draging a rectangle
around them. When points are highlighted their identifiers are displayed
in the text area. When moving the mouse over points it tells you which
point(s) you are currently over.
- Dynamic Pairs Plot: This applet gives an
interactive pairs plot with a text area to its right. You highlight points
by clicking the mouse on them or by draging a rectangle around them. When
points in one plot are highlighted the corresponding observations in the
other plots are also highlighted. Also, when points are highlighted their
identifiers are displayed in the text area. When moving the mouse over
points it tells you which point(s) you are currently over.
- Dynamic Three Dimensional Plot: This
applet gives an interactive three dimensional plot with a text area to its
right. The three dimensional plot can be rotated by holding the mouse down
on the arrows to the plots left. The variables included in the plot can be
changed by using the choice boxes to the left of the plot. Points are
highlighted by clicking the mouse on them or by draging a rectangle around
them. The identifiers for these observations are displayed in the text
area.
- Dynamic Parallel Coordinates Plot:
This applet gives an interactive parallel coordinates plot with a text
area to its right. You highlight lines by clicking and draging the mouse
in order to create a rectangle. When the mouse is released all
observations inside the rectangle are highlighted. The identifiers for
these observations are displayed in the text area.
- Dynamic Graphical Tool: This applet
gives you an interactive pairs plot with a parallel coordinates plot or a
three dimensional plot. The type of plot can be changed by clicking in the
appropriate check box. A text area is also included in this applet. You
highlight points by clicking the mouse on them or by draging a rectangle
around them. You can also highlight lines by clicking and draging a box.
All lines that intersect the box are highlighted. When points/lines are
highlighted their corresponding points/lines are also highlighted and
displayed in the text area. When moving the mouse over points in the pairs
plot it tells you what point(s) you are currently over.
