hosted by University of South Carolina and Clemson University.

Program Lodging Registration Poster Session and Awards

The annual SRCOS Summer Research Conference is designed to bring together statistical researchers at all levels to learn about current areas of investigation and trends in statistics, including statistics education. The conference format consists of morning, early afternoon, and evening sessions, leaving late afternoons open for recreation, informal professional discussions and social interaction. Such interactions are important for the development of new researchers and graduate students, whose participation via contributed poster presentations is especially encouraged.

The general philosophy of the SRC is to address cutting-edge research topics by discussing new problems and trends in the discipline of statistics. The SRC also seeks to foster discussion of current and future issues in statistical education and research. Young statisticians are thus afforded a broad view of current activities in a relatively short timeframe and friendly environment. The topics of the sessions are necessarily broad, with care taken to strike a balance between statistical theory and its application to scientific problems.
