When you construct most graphs, you are guided through a sequence of steps where you define the variables and parameters for the graph. After defining graphic specific parameters, you may also specify some standard graphics parameters by continuing to click Next-> rather than Create Graph!. The first set of standard graphics parameters deal with Axis labels and are shown in the image below. By filling in values in the appropriate text field, you can specify the title, X axis label and Y axis label for your graphic.
By clicking Next-> again, you can specify the background and foreground colors as shown below. Your color selections here will not effect the default color scheme for the Graphics Window.
You then click Create Graph! to generate the graphic.
