A scatter plot displays pairs of points on typical Cartesian (perpendicular) axes. To construct a scatter plot, begin by selecting the Scatter Plot option under the Graphics menu. When the dialog window appears, select the X variable and Y variable for the plot as shown below for the Iris data.
After selecting the variable(s) of interest, click Create Graph! to construct the graph. The result is displayed in the Graphics Window as shown below for the example above. You may also continue through the other standard graphic options by clicking Next-> before creating the graph.
