Bar Plot

A bar plot displays the frequency (or relative frequency) for all observations of a categorical variable. To construct a bar plot, begin by selecting the Bar Plot option under the Graphics menu. When the dialog window appears, select the variable of interest as shown below for the Billionaires92 data.

After selecting the variable of interest, click Create Graph! to construct a default bar plot or Next-> if you would like to specify the type of bar plot to be constructed as shown below.

The result is displayed in the Graphics Window as shown below for the example above. You may also continue through the other standard graphic options by clicking Next-> before creating the graph.
