Assistantships and Financial Support

Graduate assistantships, both teaching and research, are available. Stipends start at $15,000 for the 2010/2011 9-month academic year. Graduate assistants pay in-state tuition of which at least 85% is abated by the department. All MS and PhD applicants are automatically considered for financial support.

Financial support is available for the summer at a rate of $3000 per 5 week semester.

Additional costs consist of $153 required fee for the Student Health Center and required Graduate Student Health Insurance Coverage. International students are charged an enrollment fee of $500. To see a complete schedule of tuition and fees click here.
