Graduate Degrees in Statistics at a Distance

Students can earn the Certificate of Graduate Study in Applied Statistics (CAS) or Masters in Industrial Statistics (MIS) living at a distance. All classes are made available via downloadable files which may be viewed at the student's convenience; Most courses will require regular submission of assignments by fax or email attachment on the same schedule as the in-town students, but will not require trips to campus.

The Southern Regional Education Board's Academic Common Market

Non-SC students living in the Southern Regional Education Board States of

Alabama
Arkansas
Delaware
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
Maryland
Mississippi
North Carolina
Oklahoma
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
West Virginia

may be eligible for instate tuition for MIS or CAS courses if a comparable program is not available in your home state. This can be done through the Southern Regional Education Board's Academic Common Market. Such students need to contact their home state coordinators to begin this process at www.sreb.org/programs/acm/acmindex.aspx.

Register as Non-Degree (ND) status; up to 6 hours taken ND may be applied, with approval, towards a graduate degree or certificate. Streamlined application process at the USC Graduate School.
