(Prereq: STAT 704 and 712) Continuation of STAT 704. Analysis of variance (fixed and random effects), analysis of covariance, experimental design, model building, other applied topics, and use of computer statistical packages.
Course Homepage: (Past Pages: Spring 2001, Spring 1997 ) Usually Offered: Spring Semesters Purpose: To provide a detailed exploration of analysis-of-variance-type modeling, including design and analysis aspects, and to survey basic categorical data analyses. Current Textbook: Applied Linear Statistical Models , (5th edition), Kutner, Nachtsheim, Neter, and Li. McGraw-Hill/Irwin, 2005.
