Image Models and Social Networks
After introducing the Gibbs-Markov random field and illustrating the
difficulties of using a Gibbs distribution with examples from image
analysis, I will introduce the Gibbs random field on a complete graph as a
model for a social network. The model will be demonstrated on data from a
mental health service system. A goodness-of-fit test will then be developed
and implemented, with very pleasing results.
