Empirical Likelihood Ratio Confidence Intervals
for Mean with Censored Data
We propose a procedure to construct the empirical likelihood ratio confidence intervals for mean (Owen, 1988) using a resampling method (Ren, 1994). In a unified way, this proposed method applies to different types of censored data, such as right censored
data, doubly censored data and interval censored data. The consistency
of the procedure is shown and some simulation results are presented
The proposed method is applied to a set of doubly censored breast
cancer data.
