Since it began with 7,667 students in 1997, the AP Statistics program has grown to be one of the ten largest with over 76,000 students taking the exam last year. The fact that tens of thousands of students are now placing out of elementary statistics at the college level leads to a variety of questions: what is on the AP exam, what exactly do they know if they can score a 3 or 4, and how on earth is it graded? The audience will also get a chance to see how they would do on some of the questions as well as how they could stand the rigors of grading.
